Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies



3/4th  cup unsalted butter-melted 1 egg and 1 egg yolk
2 cup flour 1 ½to 2  cups Nestlé  chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp salt


  1. Preheat oven to 325 °F
  2. In mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugars until blended
  3. Add in egg, additional yolk, and vanilla and beat at medium speed until combined and creamy
  4. Add salt, baking soda, and lemon juice and mix
  5. Slowly mix in flour, 1 cup at a time, on low speed until combined
  6. Stir in chocolate chips with spoon until combined
  7. Refrigerate dough for 15-20 min so it can set and be easier to handle if needed
  8. Roll dough into large balls (approximately ¼ cup), and place rolled dough on parchment paper lined cookie sheet approximately 2-3 inches apart
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges are slightly golden. Cookies will look undercooked but as long as edges and underside is golden -the rest will set
  10. Enjoy!
